Those were the words of Leslie’s husband, Jamie. Words that led to the creation of the Nap Nanny®. Leslie and Jamie’s newborn daughter Kendall didn’t like sleeping flat even a little bit when she was born. The only way for everybody to get any sleep was to put Kendall in the car seat or swing.
Leslie kept asking the rhetorical question, why hasn’t anyone made something shaped like a car seat but for home use? There were plenty of wedges on the market, but inevitably the baby rolled down to the flat part of the mattress, or it just plain didn’t work. Something shaped like a car seat would hold the baby in place, and even better, could be used on every floor in the house.
That is how the Nap Nanny® was born.
Since launching in January 2009 the Nap Nanny® has grown tremendously and the Nap Nanny® team has learned a lot about its product and all the great uses parents have for it!
