Our baby is such a light sleeper we weren't sure what to do about it... but the first time Jackson slept in the Nap Nanny he napped for 3 and a half hours! It worked so well we used it that night and he slept for 5 hours straight - this was after he used to wake up every couple of hours. The Nap Nanny has been a true blessing to our family. My son has extremely bad acid reflux. He could not be laid flat at night so he was sleeping in a swing or the baby rocking chair. In the chair or swing he would wake up every one to two hours and he would be really fussy. I started doing research for products that would help my son sleep. Some of the products for acid reflux babies actually looked really scary and I worried about how safe they were for sleeping. I have been 100% pleased with the purchase of my Nap Nanny. Our son had problems with reflux and would spit up all the time when we laid him flat, even an hour or two after a bottle. I am writing as an EXTREMELY pleased customer of the Nap Nanny. My son was born and is very colicky and has his “episodes” at night. We have spent several nights driving around town at 2am trying to calm our screaming baby. We also have every baby jumper,seat, bouncer, vibrating chair, swing, and basinet that is out there, but just NOTHING worked.

Finally I had enough. It came within 1 week of me purchasing it and has become both my son’s and mine BEST FRIEND!!! From the first night with the Nap Nanny he has been sleeping SO WELL!!!! He has not had any colicky episodes during the night and allows my husband and I to both now get a good night sleep. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I LOVE your product and how much use I have gotten out of it in the past 6 months. Someone reccommended it to me when my little one was 2 months old... he had reflux and was not a good sleeper. Well, it was love at first sight between Alex and the Nap Nanny! He napped in it, he slept in it, he watched his Baby Einstein videos in it and he played in it while I did things around the house. Whenever he is fussy, I always put him in the Nap Nanny and he relaxes and takes his bottle. Now he is 8 months old and we still use it! He loves to lay in it and drink his bottle himself when he wakes up in the morning.

My son, Clark Cohn, got his Nap Nanny on the day he turned 6 weeks old.  All I can say is "Wow"! Just a quick note to say that my 8 week old little girl slept for 5 hours the very first night in her Nap Nanny. She has horrible reflux as well as colic and gas. It has been nearly impossible to get any rest without holding her and she usually only sleeps for a couple of hours at the time. We are still working out the kinks of her sleeping on her own but its nice to know that when I do put her in the Nap Nanny she is safe and comfortable and her reflux is not being aggravated. My son was diagnosed with Colic and Sever Reflux at 2 weeks old. Sleeping was so challenging for him since this was the time he was most uncomfortable. The only way he would sleep was In his car seat. If the car seat was in his crib he would sleep. Our son started getting very long for the car seat and we wanted to find a solution before his habit was any more of a problem. We tried everything. We raised the bed, he didn’t like it. We propped him on anything in the crib, he didn’t like it. We tried everything including creating our own inventions to get the perfect angle since his reflux created him to really need the perfect position.

Because of his discomfort, he always turned his head as far as he could to one side. The doctor started noticing this was something that could be of danger later if we didn’t fix it but every night, in his crib (in whatever he was in) he would crank his head so hard to one side in discomfort.

One day I was reading Parenting Magazine and I saw the ad for the Nap Nanny. I looked it up and was not sure about since the angle was 30 degrees and that did not seem high enough for what he was used to. I asked doctors, friends, family and everyone said it was a waste of money. The perfect example of people just not knowing a product. My gut told me to order it and one day I did. The very first night we put our son in his new bed he slept SO peacefully and he did not crank his head to one side. It was amazing. Our son is only 5 months old and we thank god for our Nap Nanny every night we put him in there to sleep. His sleeping has expanded by HOURS, he sleeps so peacefully and with his head straight in a healthy position, he wakes up SO VERY HAPPY instead of screaming in pain and discomfort. The Nap Nanny is so comfortable looking and he loves it. It was instant that he fell in love with his new bed and instant that we saw a drastic change for the better. I have told all my friends and family about this product and now everyone is excited about it. Don’t fall for every gimmick or listen to anyone tell you this is not the solution. I heard it all when I was in tears begging for a solution. This IS the solution. I will start my next baby sleeping in this bed right away to avoid any problems and just to give them that luxury good night sleep. Don’t read into it, the 30 degree angle is actually the PERFECT angle when you put your baby in it. Don’t read into any of it, just buy it. It will change your life and make a very uneasy baby VERY happy and comfortable.

I ordered the Nap Nanny when my son was about 3 months old. This is the most awesome baby product in our house. I recommend it to everyone and have even told my pediatrician and GI specialist about it!

My son has acid reflux and delayed gastric emptying. He cannot sleep flat. We held him and rarely laid him down until we got the Nap Nanny. His doctors recommended that he sleep on a 30 degree angle. This is impossible to do with using just books under the cradle legs and very unsafe. We then resorted to letting him sleep in his carseat. He stayed too hot and would wake up choking in the carseat due to the congestion from his reflux. It just didn't work. So, we continued to hold him upright 24 hours per day. I finally decided to order a wedge. I wasn't really happy about it since the baby has to be "tied" down to prevent slipping to the bottom of the bed. Right before I ordered, a friend told me about the Nap Nanny the had found during an Internet search. I read about it and took the chance to order. When we received the Nap Nanny, I was immediately pleased with the quality. The cover felt so soft and comfortable. My son now sleeps in his Nap Nanny for a continuous 8 hours every night with no problems. This product has helped our entire family to sleep peacefully. Thank you! Hello! I just wanted to share my excitment with you. My 11 week old has acid reflux and suffers from colic. She regularly sleeps only 1.5-2 hours at night, is always up from 3-5 am with tummy problems, and is often inconsolable in the evenings. She is on prescription medicine for the reflux and we had been seeing a chiropractor for her reflux and colic.

One night, around 2:00 am when I was so desperate for sleep and relief for her, I googled "acid reflux, colic, sleeping" and came across the Nap Nanny. I'm am writing to thank you for creating such a wonderful product; the Nap Nanny has drastically changed our lives. Because of reflux and gas, Patrick was a really colicky baby. I wanted to say thank you for making such a wonderful product! Our 7 month old son, Phillip, has been diagnosed with a rare disease. This disease caused him to have severe reflux and also kept him from growing. At 5 months old he was placed on a NG feeding tube. We used his bouncy seat to keep him elevated but he soon became too big. We searched everywhere for a product he could use and found the nap nanny. It was perfect!! He just had surgery to get a G tube in his belly and we received the nap nanny the day after his surgery. I was concerned the straps would hurt his belly but it didn't. I received my nap nanny just over two days ago, my little one has slept in it for two nights. I first want to tell you from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am to you and cannot thank you enough for what Nap Nanny has done for my son. We recently found out there is a 90 % chance that Emmett has a cleft voice box, which, if he were sleeping flat and were continuing to reflux he would have continued to aspirate, and that could have caused some serious problems, could have even meant death. The Nap Nanny is wonderful! I purchased one for our 5 mo old daughter who was diagnosed with acid reflux when she was only 3 weeks old. The twins were born 5 weeks early and both were in the NICU for 10 days. Maggie has had reflux issues since day one. She was back in the hospital with aspiration pneumonia at 8wks from it. She screamed day and night! It was awful. The doctors put her on Prilosec and Zantac with little help. We saw your ad in a magazine and wanted to try it. It was worth the wait. The Nap Nanny saved us! Our son is 8 weeks old and has a soft pallet cleft which causes him to gurgle and choke when laying down flat. He had just outgrown (and was too wiggly for) his sleep wedge when we discovered the nap nanny. It's ideal for his situation because it allows him to breath/swallow and sleep! It allows us to sleep too - finally! We are also grateful that he will be able to use the Nap Nanny for quite a while as he will not have surgery to correct his soft pallet until 9-12 months. Wanted to thank you for making this product. My son literally used to stop breathing as acid went into his air pipes due to acid reflux. He takes prevacid now and was instructed to be in an upward recline position. He is doing so much better. He has minimal to no swelling in throat. He is very comfortable in it. From the moment my daughter was born, she had a hard time going to sleep. During her one month well baby visit, she was diagnosed with acid reflux. In addition to the reflux, Ingrid was always congested and suffered from colic. Her doctor suggested keeping her head elevated when she sleeps.

When we first heard about the Nap Nanny, we were not sure what to think. We already had a swing, a bouncy seat, a Boppy, etc. We felt we did not need one more piece of baby furniture. Yet, the Nap Nappy was given to us, and it quickly became one of the most used baby items.

Our baby son had issues with projectile vomiting after eating, and the Nap Nanny was a great solution. After eating, the Nap Nanny allowed him to be upright enough so he would not spit-up but reclined enough for him to comfortably fall asleep, which he often does after eating. Additionally, it’s so lightweight and mobile that it easily travels from room to room with us.

Our son is old enough now that he no longer needs to be upright after eating, but we still love using it. He now sits in it to play and laugh and coo, as well as take a nap.
